I wonder how much dosh Lawro's managed to con out of the licence fee payers' over the year's for providing the square root of fuck all? not quite on Hansen's scale of largesse, but probably not far off. An utter cock.

I have to say the team on Tuesday had me worried but all credit to the players and manager for delivering in the most part a very strong performance.
No idea what team we will put out tomorrow - will Lowton switch to the right or will Bacuna come in for Hutton? I gather Fletcher can't play so Pulis will make a change there and I expect Sessignon will be brought in. I would expect them to look to press us higher up the pitch this time which may well lead to us depending on the counter a bit more.
Will be fascinating regardless. UTV

I've just watched MOTD and they didn't show Delph hitting the post, highlights my arse.

Anyway, Benjamin is fab, and he repeated what I always say to Sandwell and Small Heath fans, form is temporary, class is permanent.

Villa v WBA is a big rivalry - and never more so than this weekend as we battle for a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley.

It is an exciting moment for the region and one where supporters will be urging on their respective teams with unbelievable passion.

But some matters transcend football.

Jeff Astle was one of the greatest Albion strikers of all-time but tragically his life was cut short due to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a brain condition normally linked to boxing.

The coroner at the footballer's inquest ruled Astle's brain had been damaged by heading heavy leather footballs in the 1960s and 1970s.

At every home game this season, West Brom are showing a photo of Jeff on big screens nine minutes into each match as Jeff wore the No.9 shirt.

This coincides with the minute-long applause supporters have been honouring since the Justice for Jeff campaign was launched.

The Baggies supporters consider Astle royalty - his nickname was The King - so it is little surprise that they continue to remember his contribution.

We will also be displaying a photo of Jeff on the big screens this weekend and call on supporters of claret and blue persuasion to cast aside club loyalties and join together with Baggies fans to remember a player who did so much for football in the region.

Let's make Saturday a proud occasion for the West Midlands.

That's exactly how I see him, and is precisely what gets on my tits the most.

He just sits there with an air of entitlement, slouched in his fucking chair, putting absolutely zero thought or effort into what he is saying. I can't stand him.

Lawrenson must be cursing the likes of Gary Neville coming on the scene in the last few years, showing him up for the lazy, half-arsed pundit he is.

Mark Lawrenson though is utterly ignorable because his opinion means next to nothing. And I'm being generous. It has zero value in terms of content. There is no effort whatsoever so it really doesn't register for me anyway. That he is a total ringpiece is undeniable.

Back to the game, I am going to assume Vlaar will play, so I wonder in the absence of Hutton whether Okore could fill in there and keep Lowton on the left?

Although if we play

Lowton Vlaar Okore Clark - we only have one defender out of position

Rather than:

Okore Vlaar Clark Lowton - 2 defenders out of position

Usually wearing a shirt with collars that even Elvis in his Vegas days would have refused to wear.
