This is a huge game

You are right but what they don't seem to realise is that the opposition are irrelevant - its about getting points (and further in the cup)

Gabby to score first, us to win 2-1. 66-1
Have I just blown a tenner? Probably.
I'm praying that the law of Derby Gabby comes into play and he'll turn up today.

My sister's late father-in-law used to tell stories of going to see the Villa and WBA on alternating weekends. He lived in Brum in the early 60's and apparently it was not an unusual thing for a young immigrant to do. But, he was Villa through and through, and an absolute gentleman to boot.

I'm going for a draw in the league and a cup-tie win.

What one of them lot thinks. http://thebirminghampress.com/2015/03/cups-and-finals/

I think (currently) he underplays their hand a little. We are on a dire run - 7 defeats so I don't see us favourites for this one.

We'll see is Beharino is really injured.

My father is a Man city fan and he used to do the same with City and United which I find strange, but he said most of his peers did the same.

It was common here as well. I suppose that with admission relatively cheap and the pubs being shut there was nothing much else to do on a Saturday afternoon.

I see we have 30,000 due for tonight, and 40,000 due for the weekend. I think we need it to be the other way around to be honest!!!

We'll probably get in around 33k and a bit in tonight, which isn't too bad considering how bad our season's been, annoys me too that we'll get so many more for the cup game but that's the nature of football I guess, crowds are more attracted to the bigger occasion.

Club seem to be suggesting a crowd approaching 30000 tonight, can it be as low as that? If it is we are hardly collectively getting behind them are we? I recall that in our first Lambert relegation run in the crowds were quite high.

Yes good bloke but they are not the underdogs tonight given current form and styles.
