Physio room have Cissokho as out, with Richardson very doubtful, and Vlaar also needing a late fitness test. Great.

I don't think we'll see much of Vlaar from now on. What on earth has happened to Senderos?

Funny how 4,000 Albion fans are able to make it to the cup game on Saturday but not tomorrow

Only remember playing once on my birthday, an extremely late winner against Fulham at Villa Park

What do you mean? They probably would have sold 6.5k for this game if we gave them that many tickets, they hate Villa and this is their cup final playing at Villa Park.

They've sold all their allocation for tomorrow, 2,900 and all their FA Cup allocation, 6,500.

I think we should go :

Guzan
Hutton  Okore  Vlaar   Cissohko
Clark  Sanchez
Gil  Delph  Sinclair
Benteke

But if TS wants us to be more attacking push the fullbacks up and go :

                   Guzan
            Okore  Vlaar  Clark
Hutton                               Cissohko
                 Sanchez
Gil               Delph          Sinclair
                Benteke

...and we'll win, just.

If that was Leonhardsen in 2002 that was my birthday too. Under SGT - the sequel.

I can only remember 2 games I've been to on my actual birthday - 1977 at home to Norwich (Little and Gray scored in a 3 nil win) and then this one, on my birthday in 1983

They've sold all their allocation for tomorrow, 2,900 and all their FA Cup allocation, 6,500.

I'm sure 6,500 was their average attendance in the top flight under Nobby Stiles.

The infamous battle of Brum in '83. Not bad, but I can beat that. We beat Small Heath 6-0 in the Simod Cup on my eighteenth birthday in 1988. I was there but I have just tried and failed to find out how many others were. I have an idea it was about eight and a half thousand.
