Not just Carver whose being melodramatic

THE MAG

If anyone needs encouraging, cast your mind back to May 2009 when their loyal fan base for no reason mocked us....

For no reason? Christ almighty.

Quote
there were too many chants and banners for it NOT to be orchestrated.

Two banners and mocking chants does not make for for an orchestrated attack. Stop thinking so much of yourselves.

Quote
To this day I have no idea why they did that, a team who have more empty seats than Sunderland chose to mock our relegation.

The 6-0 game only partially quenched my thirst for revenge, so let us for once forget our own in-house bickering, get behind the team from the start and let Villa and their spiteful fans know exactly where they are.

This is pretty weird actually, but again shows the tendency of some NUFC fans to display no little hubris. Then they wonder why everyone laughed when they dropped.

We will win and go again against our (in)-illustrious neighbours. I hope. Twice.

Sherwood has had the U21's training beside the first team and he's been keeping a close eye. Any left backs that might catch his eye?

If Baker is back we can always shift Clark to LB.

Lewis Kinsella was mentioned in the Evening Mail earlier in the week.  Would be a big ask to call a youngster in given our current situation.

Grealish posted Kinsella singing his first team squad initiation on instagram. Could be happening.

A draw and I am optimistic. Anything else I would be ecstatically optimistic. A goal from Benteke would take me otm.. It does not take much to make me happy these days.

They're utterly deluded. They've won fuck all since colour television was invented, yet have this high opinion of themselves fuelled by a sports media who revel in taking the piss out of The "Gerodie Nation". Fucking idiots.

It actually beggars belief that a club of that size have won nothing of note since 1955. It is an abysmal record, really.

I used to regard them with bemused semi-pity, like you would a clapped-out circus sideshow, but now I'm really beginning to think they're a bunch of fucking self-indulgent, thick, prissy twats. Who the fuck do they think they are? What did they expect us to do - weep along with them? The whole nation was willing their demise. We dispatched them with a lesson in dry Brummie wit. Fuck them.

Newcastle boss Carver: Why I’d love to see Aston Villa go down this season

It was funny at the time but this reaction makes it even funnier. Bitter old sod.

How does Carver know what our reactions were after the game considering the twat wasn't even at VP?

I think you'll find that it wasn't just Villa who relegated the bar codes, it was 18 other clubs too. Oh, and Gallowgate hero Alan Shearer!!
