Liam, will the Baggies fans be arriving by their usual form of transport to Villa Park?

What is the usual?

No doubt many of our older supporters will come along on the coaches but I expect many to come along on the train.

I usually get the train from Tame Bridge into Witton and head into the pub on the corner just down from the ground. I'll be pissed by then anyhow  ;D

Tsk, you little scamp.

Predictable price hike.

Pricks.

The most expensive ticket for an FA CUP QUARTER FINAL is £30, it's a good price, are you mad?

Nothing amuses me more than small clubs like Albion talking about our attendances. The last time they averaged over 30K was before our last home FA Cup QF.

They also never sold out last time they got to Wembley when they played Portsmouth. I think it will sell out, for the record.

Regardless of opposition and kick-off time, if we can't sell out our first FA Cup quarter final at home for 55 years it's a damned poor show.

It's a relatively good price considering the extortionate cost of Premier League tickets.

It's still a massive rip off for 90 minutes of football.

Seeing as how we aren't due another home 6th round draw until 2070 after this one the used ticket itself will be worth more than £30 before long.

A mate asked me last week to get him a couple of tickets for the league game. For £30 a pop, he's got a cracking view of the corner flag.
And that's how much my seat's gonna be for a quarter-final?
No complaints from me.

Prices seem fair to me. If we were playing the Noses, hen the kick off time might be a worry for the the police, but no the Bitters.

We played them at Half 5 two seasons back in the league.

There never seems to be hatred in the air walking up Witton league pre kick off unlike when SHA visit.

In fairness attendances against them in the last few seasons have been about 35k I think but yeah given it's a cup quarter final it will be 40k + no problem.

Looking at a couple of their forums some of them think there will be stripeys in the Villa end, en masse. They don't appear to have sussed out that tickets in the home end are not for general sale, at all. To get a ticket in the Villa end you must have, at least, a 'varied' booking history. Unless a Villa fan is willing to give up their reference - seems highly unlikely for this match - it just isn't happening.

What is depressing for me is that for a long time I held Albion fans in higher regard than the dogshitters. It turns out they're just as full of the same old bollocks:

- Hundreds of albion/blues in the Villa ends going mental? Check.
- Fickle supporters can't sell out their ground (blindness to their own attendances included)? Check.
- Villa fans as middle class flag-waving tossers? Check.

It's all there and it's all the same bitter nonsense.
