Classic game of two halves. Sherwood seems to have made the right noises at half time as we looked a lot sharper in the second half. Just wish Benteke could have scored to give him a boost.

Thought Clark was immense today and deserved man of the match for that tackle alone. Vlaar looked good as well. Even Cleverley had one of his better games.

Well worth the ten hours on the M5. We missed the first few minutes because of the congestion at J4 which was even worse on the way back.

We owe a big thanks to the guy looking after the car park next to the Wharf Diner on Lichfield Road who opened the gates to let us in. Without him we would have missed a lot more. Cheers mate!

So we'll now be playing Baggies twice in 5 days if the cup game is on the Saturday and the last time we played them in the cup was 1957. This is going to be a massive few weeks. Can't wait.

Is it just me or is Delph looking a bit old and chubby?

Just you. He was definitely poor yesterday but old and chubby?

Well he's definitely balding and there looks to be more than one chin on show also.

Hope he hasn't caught the Gabby virus!

Love rewatching bacuna's goal, very reminiscent of his finish vs Albion at home last season.

The one where he nearly missed from a yard?

yup, Norwich, the counter-attacking goal. The finish was very similar but .... ok, I forgot it was on the other foot!

There's a propa player in Bacuna ... just a case of unlocking it...

Impressed by Sherwoods half time words and the improvement it brought but in all honesty after watching villa for the last 2 seasons its not exactly rocket science that using the wings running at playing an playing early ball into the box to the strikers and midfielders making runs would result in more chances and goals.

I like Bacuna and always have done. Be interesting what we do this summer as he'll only have a year left
