"underwhelmed" was the word I used in response to his appointment, but I backed him 100% until very recently when I felt his comments about not his players, he doesn't tell them to play the way they do, he'll shuffle the pack and see if it works, he'll change things again for the next game etc all smacks of "not my fault" and crisis management. His comment yesterday about the club "being in a hole" rather than the team and his management of it is again passing the responsibility for poor performances on to those in higher places who actually have nothing to do with the team selection and the way it plays - the things that TS was employed to do and paid extremely well for.
Glad to see the back of him if he is going to blame my club for giving him the best chance he will ever get but wasn't up to it.
Fu*k the fu*ker!

Who was the visionary on here who said he would last until November?

Sherwood is full of his own self importance, he has treated our club like shit, unlike Lambert and McLeish. His tactics have been awful and cannot believe the team selection yesterday, though I will say again I thought Bacuna did well and not sure I was that pist

I think that Rudy Can't Fail and I both suggested that would be the case.

Has Tony Parks gone? Loved his enthusiasm last season but seems to have gone into hibernation this season?

He's still listed on the official site.

But then the official site still lists:

Manager - Tim Sherwood

Parks is noticeable by his absence on the club statement though.

That table is scary. Only 7 of the last 26 managers achieved a record which now looks necessary for us to stay up. And that ignores the fact that games like Stoke, Sunderland, Baggies and Swansea at home (where we'd expect points) have gone and been wasted!

This really is the year isn't it.

Then again, if a combination of Lambert and Sherwood couldn't get relegated last year, Lambert couldn't get us relegated the two times prior to that and McLeish couldn't get relegated the year before that, simply being adequate as a manager should be good enough to see us through.

I imagine that they need a few people to coach the squad during the transition from one manager to the next. Whether they're still in work in a fortnight will depend on if the new manager would prefer someone else.

Quite a few of them will have been when it was 2 points for a win so that's a factor for starters. The ratio we need is the same one that gets you 50 points over a season. So I don't find it scary, we just need to show midtable form.

When TSM 2 was sacked I was asked who do you want as your next manager. My reply was along the lines of as long as it's not Tim Sherwood then they can't possibly be much worse.  Well he was much worse than TSM 2 and should have been sacked after the SHA game when he basically said that we deliberately played crap for 45 minutes on purpose. Clearly the pressure was taking its toll,  but that for me was the first time that I really thought that he'd lost it.

He didn't say we deliberately played crap. He said that the tactics were deliberate, which was be physical and direct. I can't stand him and am delighted he has gone but there's plenty to beat him with without twisting things to make more.

36Pts kept you up last season, that means we need to average 1.14 per game, which equates to 43 over 38 games. Not impossible,
