What narrative does Fox want us to follow now?

He's now my least favourite villa manager since I started following the club. That's pretty good going when you've got O'Leary for competition.

He's fallen into the MO'N and DO'L category for me aswell.

What bothers me more is the complete lack of communication from the board yet again.   "Let's just ignore it and hopefully it'll go away'

I doubt Ellis would have let a manager get away with the short of gobbing off Sherwoods managing.

What can they say?

"Yeah we agree with the fans, he's a shit manager and he's acting like a c**t but we want to give him the chance to talk himself out of his compensation to save some money".

I've only ever disliked 2 Villa managers, McNeill and Mr Fickle. I've disliked having McLeish as Villa manager for example, but I didn't dislike McLeish if that makes sense. Sherwood is fast becoming the third.

Lambert was incompetent but I could never bring myself to actively dislike him, sherwood is absolute poison and is only interested in one thing, and it's not the villa.

I'm quite unpleasantly surprised he's still in the job. His 'boring' comments alone should have pushed it beyond doubt. Holding onto him now is just delaying the inevitable. Just fire him.

McLeish was a decent man who did have the best interests of the club at heart. Lambert was out of his depth. Both were operating under constraints set by Lerner.

I agree. I felt sorry for Lambert, but even all that 'I can't fault the players' guff was presenting a united front to the media - for all we know he could have been tearing strips of them in the dressing room, but he didn't blame them publicly. Sherwood, on the other hand, is just washing his hands of the whole situation, like it's everyone's fault but his. It's quite shameful, really.

Not while he was manager if i'm honest. I've grown to detest the pube-headed judas twat since he left though.

Same for me. He frustrated me when he was in charge at times, especially towards the end but I'll never forgive him for what he did at the end of his tenure.

I only started to dislike o'neill after the way he left us. I did want him gone from around february / march of his last season, but in terms of incumbent managers he's not even close to the other two.

EDIT: Beaten to the punch.

I'm sure I read an interview where Benteke was said to have asked someone what the word ****** meant because Lambert says it so often in the dressing room.
