I think despite the Fergie approval which he had for TSM1, Moyes would be good for us. Fergie doesn't recommend a manager take over unless the club and staff are at least together, so he must think there's something decent at Villa. I think with Moyes organisation and history at Everton he pips Rodgers by quite a bit despite his Manure and Sociedad ventures. Lets face it we're in a relegation battle and I would take 3 years of mid table with Moyes and start dreaming after that when we might be a bit more 'sellable'.

Now that ol' purple nose is out of the picture, I think it pretty much holds as a rule. To push my luck I think the overall picture of Scottish managerial genius in England is distorted by him, Busby and Shankly. You could say the same about any region though - there are occasional nuggets but mostly dross.
