He's not even a cockney, it's like saying someone from Halesowen is a Brummie.

The main reasons for the more hysterical elements on here wanting to get rid so soon seem to be that he's a 'cockney chancer' and more importantly that he's tactically suspect.  The first is hardly worth addressing except to say surely it's irrelevant (and actually would be illegal if he were from a different country not a different city).

I don't give one tenth of one fuck if he's from London, a cockney, from Hertfordshire, or the moon, I honestly do not give a shit.

I do, however, give a shit about the fact that he is a chancer.

One of his problems is he talks himself up so well, he talks a good game, and then when you see what he actually delivers, it fails to match up with all the talk.

That might be one thing he can learn, be more humble, don't get yourself into stupid situations like you did last week after the first half of the Blues match. Don't say after the Leicester match that it was the players' fault and that there was nothing wrong with your tactics.

In fact, don't say anything like that to the media, keep it behind closed doors.
I concur

I think it's safe to say the good will he built up between Mid February and Mid April, deservedly so, has all but disappeared, also deservedly so.

The alarm bells rang for me with the Southampton game if I am being honest.

I think one of his faults, and something that he needs to learn/get out of his system, is that he overthinks his tactics or game plans. Football can be a simple and beautiful game when played at its best and to your own teams strengths, however his is over complicating matters on the pitch by taking into consideration the opposition, circumstances and making the wrong decisions...

Example1: Playing long ball game in first half against Blose to lull them into some psychologically induced false sense of security (if what he said is actually true).
Example2: Playing defensively to frustrate Liverpool when it would have been more frustrating for them if we'd gave gone at them and scored an early goal.

Last season he mentioned several times that this team didn't have it in them to defend and we'd play attacking football...so why set up his team to play defensively at Anfield when the natural game for our players is to play the ball on the deck and attack? Why create such absurd game plans that involve playing in one way then switch to playing in a completely different style when all it achieves is create uncertainty and confusion amongst our players who are still trying to settle?

I'm not sure if this is due to his naivety, his ego or just good old fashioned stupidity, but one thing for sure if that he needs to play to our strengths rather than think about the opposition so much.

Problem now KRS , he firstly has to stop the team from losing and if that means going negative, that's if he has the players capable, that's what we need now.
We have to get some points on the board by hook or by crook, if he cant do it defensively then go hell for leather and if we lose at least we create some excitement, now it appears he has found TSM 1 and 2 book of football and tries one, one half and the other for the second half.

We aren't going to stop this rot going defensive, we don't have a solid enough, hard working enough midfield and the defense always has a clanger in them.

If we are to turn this around we've got to get our dangerous players on the ball, Gestede out of the team and try to win football games again. Haven't we been down this path before of going completely negative through fear and not scoring in a stupid amount of hours and massive runs without wins?

Do we learn nothing from all our mistakes?

"Yes" would seem to be the answer to that.

He's started doing that weird thing in his post-match interviews when he shrugs his shoulders and sorts of shakes for a few seconds at difficult questions.  He reminds me of Alan Partridge at the funeral where he gets introduced to Peter who is revamping news and current affairs.

All down to fitness apparently

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood:

We weren't good enough. I think both teams were average at best.

"A draw would have been a fair result, but the situation is getting a lot worse. There's ifs, buts and maybes, but that's why we're near the bottom of the league.

"I can give the fans assurances that we will work as hard as we can. The fans want to be entertained and see the team win.

"I don't think we've got a squad fit enough to play the way I want to play.

We'll use the international break to get a min pre-season into some of them."
