He needs time. He has bought in what, 11 players, and it's going to take time to know what his best team is. He hasn't been helped by injuries either. Very bad end to last year but he got us over the line and deserves a chance at turning this club around. Way too soon to be getting on his back in my view. I actually prefer his press con attitude to Lamberts who would have spouted some shite about "we go again". You can guarantee the players will have been given a serious rollicking after today's capitulation.I agree bad subs today but the players are more to blame for me. A number of them have been making the same basic and costly errors for the last 5 years, regardless of manager, and it just rubs off on the new ones. It's frustrating seeing Sanchez get MOM against Brazil and then get bossed by a Leicester midfield. We could do with bringing a shrink in to sort the players heads out.
So what's Ray Wilkins role in all of this then? Why doesn't he offer his vast knowledge to TS when it's 2-0? "I wouldn't bring on a striker here Tim, bring on Veretout and kill the game".Or is he just another Phil Neal who nods and agrees with everything?
I didn't see much of Wilkins Reggie Kray seemed to be doing a lot of directing as usual.
Adebayor released by Tottenham. Villa bound? We could do with him.

Fuck him, I'd rather struggle than beg a millionaire, nutter mercenary to please take pity on us and sign.
It was like parody Sherwood today. Set up a very brave team, the plan worked, the players looked relaxed and were playing for him. When we go two-up, against a run of play in which the opposition manager has (yet again!) flummoxed Tim with a half-time sub, Tim brings off our best player for someone who looks like he won a raffle prize to play in a Premier League match, brings on a big lumpy lump who does nothing, and continues to abandon the midfield as we get slaughtered everywhere.
Just one thought. We all rightly blame Sherwood But it's definitely the case that Guzan's mistake cost us today. I felt the game had quietened a bit
