He does talk too much about Spurs and about Kandy Kane. He also tells tales out of school a bit - why does Jamie Redknapp know first-hand from Sherwood about our problems? Hopefully he'll keep it innocuous like that, but it's irking.
Typical Spurs, trying to ride on our tailcoats.*Tim, STFU about Spurs, noboday cares. Live and ride the dream with Aston Villa. Harry Kane is absolute shit compared to Citizen Kane.. or even Big Daddy Kane.

Like I say, fairly obvious and innocuous - not to mention it's probably the same thing he's saying to the players - but it's still talking about them outside of the club, and to someone who obviously won't keep his mouth shut. It's not the worst thing, but you could imagine it getting worse depending on what he's saying - he's not spreading compliments around.

I think we have got away without anyone in the media noticing so far.
He literally said he wanted to build a siege mentality. If he's changed his mind that's fine, but it's what he said.

To create a shared feeling of victimization. Maybe he doesn't know what siege mentality really is.

As long as he wins it doesn't matter, obviously - it's just a bit disconcerting to have Sky pundits telling us that our manager was talking to him about the players.
