I hope we look to counter attack tomorrow - the pressure is on Hull to get a result and if we have a bit of pace to counter we can hurt them. Personally expecting a draw.

Ultimately we won't be relegated tomorrow if we lose, neither will we safe if we win. There be twists and turns until the end.

If we win it will be good but if we lose it will be bad.

If it's a draw it will be not too bad and not too good.

Its when you see it like that, in black & white, how very poor we are.

I wouldn't argue with the selection, or the formation, but that team has bottom three written through it -regardless of who the manager is.

There's just no leadership there.
There's no pace there.
And, as we know, there's nowhere near enough goals in the side. Having a midfield three who contribute a sum total of what, say 5-6 goals BETWEEN them in a normal season is a recipe for disaster.

I disagree as much about as much as I can. There's pace in there, there is a bit of leadership, there's just no organisation from the man who signed them.

This will either be a Bolton type game for Lambert, or the game which turns his season round. Either way, it won't be a draw.

Bad feeling about this one.

On the plus side we have the better players, on the negative side Hull have been scared into fighting back.

Lambert's had more Bolton games than Nat Lofthouse (God rest his soul).  The bloke is bullet proof.

See for some reason I have a really good feeling about this. As much as we have been gash, there are teams below us. How on earth that is nobody will ever be able to explain. It's like we have made it too easy and they still didn't take full advantage. We won't go on like this forever and at some stage things will mysteriously click just as they have gone the other way so dramatically since Arsenal at home. There are too many good players in the side, and while the manager doesn't help matters, even he wouldn't mind seeing us score a few on Tuesday and moving forward. I think we will take our chances vs Hull and win the game.

No pace ?? Sinclair-Delph-Bacuna !! We lack a lot of other qualities, but not pace ........

not really. Read my opening comments prior to the Chelsea game. I saw some positives in that game that I feel will benefit us going into tomorrow. Now, I'm not so naive that I wouldn't acknowledge the numerous false dawns in our past, but again, one day it has to change. So maybe am optimistic about this, just not about everything anymore, which ultimately is disappointing.

Pace wise I think that selection is fine. Clark is the only slow one in the back four but to be fair rarely gets done pace wise anymore. Westwood and Gil are a bit one paced alright but we have a few flyers there. We have had a problem in recent games with the likes of Hutton, Sanchez and Cleverley getting caught ahead of the ball and being unable to get back. Thats a tactical issue to be resolved more so I reckon.

Leadership, its been a problem for years in the team but Clark has really stepped up this year. Need a lot more from Delph and Benteke in this regard. We have a lot of very experienced players in the squad unfortunately most of them are injury prone, finished or a combo of both.

That midfield trio got 11 league goals last year in a dire side. Cleverley was probably brought in to add goals and assists to our midfield but has failed miserably. Think we need to give Delph more freedom to push forward as he has the pace to get back if needs be.
