We're Hull's bogey team so let's hope that continues.7 teams we've played them in the prem, 6 wins and a draw. Even two wins and a draw under Lambert!
0-0.That's shots on target.
On paper their team is really poor, Alex Bruce, McShane, Meyler, Elmohamady, Aluko, Ramirez even their keeper McGregor is very average. If we match their intensity from the start and if Benteke and Delph show up we should have enough. A win would set us up very nicely for the cup game too. A nervy 1-0 to the Villa. No to Cleverley!!--------------GuzanHutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho---Bacuna, Westwood, Delph------Gil, Benteke, Sinclair
Jores Okore is in positive mood heading into the Hull game - and has called on the team to play with their hearts at the KC Stadium.Okore was upbeat following the loss to Chelsea because Villa matched the league leaders for long periods and deserved something from the game. The Danish defender equalised early in the second half with a far-post header from a cross by Carlos Gil, though a Branislav Ivanovic winner denied Villa a share of the points. However, Okore sought to emphasise that Villa's impressive performance can give them confidence looking ahead to the Tigers game and beyond. He said: "I think that we had a really good performance - we played very well and showed we could compete against Chelsea."It was unlucky that we didn't win but that was one step forward and showed that we can play really good football."It's something that we already knew we could do but it's just nice to get it confirmed that we can play a really good game against Chelsea"I just think that if we can get the same kind of effort in the upcoming games we can perform really good. I am looking for us to do that."It's a really big game and it's a game where we're looking for the win. We're going to go out there and really put our heart out there to get the three points."Despite the defeat, Okore was understandably delighted to score his first goal for the club.He continued: "I'm really happy to get that goal and not to wait too long to get my first goal for the club so hopefully there's many more to come. I am really relieved to get it."I just was really happy and glad - and hopefully we can get the fans up and running with the energy we get from that goal."Newboy Gil provided the assist with a teasing cross from the right - and Okore was quick to praise the Spaniard's impact since joining Villa. He added: "Carlos played really good. He created a lot of things on the pitch and the way he came in the team and in games and showed creativity and drive has helped the team a lot."He is a good lad and he played really well."
