Nobody middle class on here, we're all part of the international proletariat, comrade.

Fuck off, you Tipton peasant.

Well, that's answered my dilemma 'Who's first against the wall come the revolution?'

Heinz Dieter Griffin will never surrender to the Commie non people.

Hopefully it will be more fun.

Regardless, i'll be going to a lot of away games next season.

It might be like the 3rd Division days ?

More away fans than home fans.  :)

I've said before how I absolutely fucking hate us not being in the top flight, but it's hard to see how it's going to be less fun than this season has been.

The going down bit isn't fun, the coming back up hopefully is.

If we are in and around the top 6 next season it will be fun. Mid-table mediocrity as the likes of Rotherham roll into town on a Tuesday night (cliché), or worse still a relegation battle, would be more torture.

Not looking forward to round one of the league cup,  when was the last time we played in round one?

Are the regulations on squad size, home grown players, home nation players and non-EU players different in the Football League from the Prem?

Would we possibly have to cut some of our non-English players loose to free up squad slots for home grown players etc?

Top 6 fun? It'll be a friggin nightmare. Every one of us will be on tenterhooks, week in and week out. I'm hoping this will be our lot at the very least.

It'll only be fun if we're romping it away in top spot. Not going to happen.

which grounds are you lot looking forward to going to?

brentford, huddersfield and brighton (if they're not promoted) for me.

Those three and PNE for me
went to Brentford once to watch them play Tranmere many, many moons ago. I was staying at a mate's place in Chiswick for a few months and his old man was a Tranmere supporter. Shit ground as I recall, but lots of good pubs in that area of West London.

Also the match was the most exciting 0-0 I've ever seen. Rovers had about 5,000 shots on target, but bizarrely never managed to find the net from any of them. Funny how that game sticks in the memory when so many Villa games are now just a blur, or completely forgotten.

It just gets worse! With 2-3 northern clubs moving into the Prem, my hoped-for away tour of Yorks and Lancs will be somewhat curtailed, sadly.
I'm looking forward to the temporary visit to the second tier but will lose my patience if we fail to play well and do well.

I live in Cumbria now - so looking forward to the Blackburn, Wigan and Preston away games.
