I was glad to hear Carragher says a few choice words after the game. We're Aston Villa not some Mickey Mouse outfit just happy to plod along in the Premier League for a couple of seasons before the inevitable relegation.
Lerner has got away with murder at Villa, and has turned us into a laughing stock. 11 goals in 23 league games is so bad it's stunning, yet the manager is till in a job. If you didn't laugh you'd cry.

I would like to see anyone in their right mind defend the Lambert and Lerner fiasco.
Oh it'll happen.  We'll be reminded that Lerner wasted a quarter of a billion pounds and left the club worse off.  Three cheers!

He did but those days are long gone for them to be an excuse he wrote the debt off so no one with a right mind can defend these fools.

As an aside, didn't we lose 5-0 at Arsenal that night old balloon face had to go in goal for us?

Yes.
Looking ahead to next week and Chelsea at home, what's our heaviest home defeat ever ?

23 matches 22 points 11 goals, what's even worse is the last 19 matches 12 points 7 goals. Form that makes us relegation certainties.

The second goal summed it up for me.
25 yards from their goal Richardson showed a little enterprise in cutting inside in an attempt to create an opening. What was there for him?
F**k all! Not one Villa player in sight, or running into the space, or wanting the ball, or using the space to create danger/threat, and seeing that he can't do anything, an opponent bears down on him, nicks the ball off him and within 3 passes they've scored.
I went to today's game with a solid sense of optimism. I've come home completed gutted, humiliated and at my wit's end wondering what is happening to my beloved Aston Villa.
I thought we were pretty solid defensively...until today. I know Arse are a good side with some outstanding players but they just brushed us aside as if we were an insignificant inconvenience.

If I hadn't written all that bollocks I'd say I was lost for words.
UTV!

Up until the last couple of games we have been solid defensively. Then Leicester away really told me we looked in desperate trouble. The most one sided 1-0 defeat ever where 4/5-0 would have been justified. No goals and now shipping lots of goals. This will only end one way.

Guzan - 4 - thought he was as bad as I've seen him and the whole penalty debacle summed up his and our day

hutton - 5 - did nothing good, or bad, throughout the game
Okore  - 4 - As bas as i've seen him. Slow, sluggish and the goals came through his side.
Clark - 6 - defensively better than Okore and occasionally tried to carry the ball out
Richardson - 4 - You're there to carry am attacking threat. So try.

Gil - 7 - always trying and always looking bright and hopeful.
Cleverley - 4- I never give less than 4 but this is generous
Delph - 6 - tried but no help
Sanhez - 0 - fucking awful

Weimann - 5 - no help but still tried to run the channels
Benteke -4 - maybe we will have him next season

Subs:

Gabby: 4 - I was in the West Wing/Stand/Bank/End and everyone was laughing at the pitiful attempt to win the ball with his head in the middle of the pitch. useless

Sinclair - 6 - Promising. I liked what he did.

probably someone else - 5 - can't remember them. says it all.

It was shit.

Message to Paul Lambert: 1. We were never in the game.
                                      2. You don't play a high line against a top side.
                                      3. It is better to make changes before going three down.
                                      4. We had one clear chance (Weimann) all game.
                                      5. You are bringing disgrace to the club and yourself.
                                      6. Do the right thing and fuck off.

As much as Gil was tidy on the ball, he has to at least take a share of responsibility for the second half shambles down our right hand side. Hutton was hopeless defensively too.

Saved myself £170 by not going today I reckon. Hats off to all who did go. The owner , management , and players do not deserve such unwavering support .

Two shots ROBBO, Westwood in the dying seconds. Theo Walcott' s interview after the game, mentioned the fun of the Villa fans with their ironic cheering.
