Sometimes i wish Roy Keane had remained.I can't imagine him putting up with the half-hearted attitude of too many players.Theres so many who pass the buck of responsibility its ridiculous. The only player who tried things today was Gil, and CB looks so devoid of confidence.

 Gabby looks overweight as well.

We might just about survive, but this managers tactical nous is non-existant.A 1st team of Guzan, Sissokho, Okores, Vlaar, Hutton, Delph, Sanchez, Gil and CB, is not a bad team, but they are so nrgative in their set up its ridiculous.

Bring in a Karanca kind of manager, and we will be comfortably in the top10, with another addition or 2.

It now appears that the national sports press are latching onto the ineptitude from too to bottom at Villa.I suspect that Lerner, Lambert and co are going to find the next few months a lot more uncomfortable than dealing with our opinions expressed on websites.

That at least is the straw I am clutching at.

We played poor yet again and it was freezing cold at the Emirates plus another league game without a goal.

It's starting to remind me of the end of Sven's England career when everyone wanted him out, not least the FA, but they couldn't afford to pay him up and he wasn't going to turn down the compo.

I think that's the sad truth unfortunately, which makes the contract extension at the start of the season even more baffling.

Although I don't think it's the money, they just can't be arsed going through all that again.

I agree with this.

When Fox came out with the line ''The easy thing to do would be change the manager'' I instantly thought bollocks. The easy thing for you all to do is keep Lambert in the firing line, hoping to get us through to the end of the season where you get another few months to try and sell the club or go again. The hardest thing to do would be face the music and put some work in to get a bloody decent manager and face all the questions about another load of shit decisions you've all made.

They're happy to go along with the status quo on the back of more veiled talk of plans and unseen happenings that will turn out just fine in the end. Nice words, but the proof is in the pudding on the pitch and boy does the pudding taste like a turd pie.

In a period of complete fuckwittery the award of a new contract to Lambert has to be pretty high up there.

The cost of sacking him would be dwarfed by the cost of relegation.

I'm 100% convinced Lambert was given the new contract during his summer meetings and they waited hoping we had an Ok start to announce it.

The last time we lost 0-5 away to Arsenal, the olearyout website was created, followed soon after by ellisout.

Both lambertout.com and .co.uk are already up and running.

They probably can't print half the things he's saying, on account of the fact that they don't know what he's saying.

Sky showed a table of the lowest scorers in English football after today's game. It won't surprise anyone that we are 92nd of course but incredibly we are 9 goals behind Smethwick in 91st.  That isn't even close.

What does he want, sympathy or something?
I really don't like him. I know it shouldn't be personal but, fuck it.....he's a wanker and I want him out.

Don't think even in the relegation to div 3 and other relegation battles have I ever felt as low as I do now.
Maybe this should be under a new thread but as a protest why don't we all wear black armbands to the next game and so on if we get beat they all get thrown onto the pitch at the end.
A pitch with thousands of black armbands on it at the end would surely be embarrassing to the prats in charge when shown on m o t d
