Tomorrow all eyes will be on the transfer window. By Tuesday people will have calmed down a bit and will be saying "well it was Arsenal away." On Friday some will predict in the pre match thread that we'll get a result against Chelsea because of Mourinho's record against us. Then on Saturday night we'll all feel this fucking misery again. And he'll still be here.
Embarrassing. Pathetic. Disgusting. Humiliating. Unacceptable. Managed by idiot, owned by an idiot. Play like idiots. We should be relegated on performances like that.
In a strange way, I get some comfort from reading the pain, anger and frustration flowing from this thread knowing that many are feeling the same as me. I was just too young to experience the period from 1966 to 1970 but that must be the only comparable period in our history to be so demoralising.I just feel utterly humiliated by the slow demise of our great club. They should all hang their heads in shame.
I remember that pic of them all having a beer on the team bus after that spineless 3-0 defeat at Spurs. Andi Weimann "whoop whooping" that the season was done.Lambert had to go then. Writing was on the wall.

You are correct, this is the first time since then that there has been such an utter lack of hope for the future. Right now it feels like February 1967.
Just overtook the team coach on M1. They are all relaxed watching the movies on their individual screens no doubt Lambert gave them an excellent talk before they set off!
