Losing 5-0? No problem.  Been there, done that. Not nice, but it happens.  But what I can't stand is what is now happening with the reporting of the club and our games.  I had listened to the match on Talksport, with 50% of the commentary team professing to be a Villa fan, and it was one long piss take as to how bad this side are.  We're a national laughing stock - and still those with the power to hire and fire can't or won't do something about it.

Exactly, everyone pisses themselves laughing at us at the moment and the people running the show act and talk like we are the idiots who just don't understand this master plan they are evoking. We're football commoners, they're the intelligent football educated ones who need to ignore us because we don't get what's going on behind the scenes.

Bollocks. They are treating the clubs name and history appallingly allowing this current farce to continue. Forget about ''false narrative'' and systems being put in place to support good old Paul, we cannot even score A FUCKING GOAL on a regular basis, it would be laughable if it wasn't my club.

Fox, stop the shit talking, Lambert stop trying to pull the wool over our eyes, let's have some real questioning of the shambles currently taking place at the club whilst everyone gets rich from it and the fans are taken for granted and arrogantly dismissed as unknowing peasants.

We cannot even score A SINGLE FUCKING GOAL, this can't continue any longer.

I guess I'm all for Lambert going but I'm dead scared in who the fool at the top would bring in.

Probably Steve Bruce.

Frankly I think Joey Essex would do a better job.

I remember there was a spell of a few years, in the MON era, where Bolton Wanderers came here any played a high defensive line every time, and every time, our pace up front meant we demolished them without even breaking sweat.

That's pretty much what we did today. The bad bit, I mean, the Bolton bit, obviously
Yep I was there....5-1 wasn't it?

'I am looking for anybody who can improve the side', sounds pretty desperate. Also it doesn't matter if you're 'in a game for 65 minutes'. A football match is 90 minutes and we just don't score or win any games.

It's on par with his previous rambles along the lines of

Paul do you think Villa will stay up?

Yes

Why?

I just do

Thanks for that insight you plank.

The lack of goals and repetitive narrow defeats punctuated by the odd heavy defeat is very Billy McNeil 1986/87.

That's the thing, his record of employing managers get's worse every time. Why doesn't he ever go for a Pochettino or Koeman. No real football knowledge of the game in the millennium?

I'd take Joey Deakin.

Lerner and Faulkner's remit was that they MUST have Premier League experience. Apparently the breed of football in the Premier League is completely different to anywhere else in the world.

You've made that point. Do you think you could possibly move onto something else now?
Never mind that.  What did you think of the performance and result?

Yes, agree, could you tell us please what you thought of our performance? Then I can pick on you and hound you for the next 'x' posts as you do me....always

I haven't said anything to you for some time - feel free to contradict me if you have evidence to the contrary or failing that an apology would be appreciated  - and if you have any comments about the moderating of this site please make them via PM.

where to from here ?
We can all hurl insults and barbs at what has to be the mot clueless manager we have ever had, and by golly I have seen some fucking useless ones.
Through either stubbornness or stupidity Management seem to be intent on backing him.
Mass fan demonstrations seem out of favour, he needs help in the short term and sacking in the medium.
Is there no voice that can talk to the club about bringing in some help, We are on an express train to relegation with this twat in charge.
Who has the credibility to talk to the club and have positive discussions to suggest change.
your thoughts please.

We'll be laughing about all this one day when we are good again.Trouble is the carer will have tucked me in for the night and I will have to wait until the following morning to relive our success on WM.

The club, or rather senior management at the club, are under no illusions as to the manager's popularity. On the one hand I'm glad they aren't influenced by public opinion, on the other I wish that just once they would be.
