Bacuna,Grealish and Gil to start please.
Yes please, Lambert seems to have finally seen the light with dropping N'Zog and Weimman, now if he can just do the same to Westwood, Cleverley and Gabby we might stand half a chance.
Just spoken to a fairly reasonable Leeds fan (yes there is one!). Bournemouth passed the ball well, had loads of possession, counter-attacked with pace and even missed a penalty. No worries then.
6000 must be the biggest away attendance since Sunderland had about 10/15/20? thousand in the ground in our promotion season from Second Div in 1975?
Bradford in the semi I would have thought.
I would like to forget that match if you don't mind!

Nowhere near. Arsenal brought well over 10,000 for the League Cup quarter final in 1984, Wolves had about as many at the FA Cup game in 1983. When the Witton End/North Stand lower was still terracing it held 5,500 on its own and was filled many times plus whatever the club had in the old Witton Lane stand. That's without Everton in the league in 1987, which almost reached the number Small Heath took to Bruges.

No way did Everton bring 200,000 Dave.

Liverpool had around 12,000 for the cup tie in 1988 didn't they? And I'm sure Yanited bought near enough 10,000 down for the league cup 3rd game in 1992 (and how bonkers does that look now? A gate of 40,000 and 10,000 away fans early in the league cup)

Do you mean 1986 Dave? Charlie Nicholas celebrating in front of them in the Witton Lane. '83-'84 was when Walsall knocked them out.

United in '92 filled the Witton Lane stand, as did Juventus in 1983.

Yes, of course it was 1986. I can't remember how many Manchester United brought but as the Liverpool 1988 game was a sell-out then they'd have had around 15% of the 46,324 crowd (I think the allocation rule was 15% by then).
I am trying to think of what the biggest cup following we will have taken in recent years. The FA Cup isn't our friend is it, so I suppose Sheffield United away under Houllier perhaps? That end holds about 5,500.
I have always thought Sheffield Wednesday would be a good place for an FA Cup 4th round game. Saturday 3pm, not too far, a good 6000 tickets on offer in a classic ground.

We had a big following at Blackburn away a few years back, both in the semi final and league game.
Didn't Port Vale bring 10,000 when it pissed down and we thrashed them. Stuart Gray wonder free kick? 6-0? or is my memory playing up
