Lambert's got the novel out again.

"I'm thinking of changing the main character from a turnip to a pixie, what d'ya reckon guys?"

The fucking brains trust stare at a notepad while motionless on the bench. No wonder Keane fucked off.

Just what was Lambert saying to his coaches there but I imagine it was something like

"I have no idea what to do here but doesn't this flower I've doodled look nice?

We are utterly ineffectual in atack. It's absolutely criminal to have a striker of the quality of Benteke and not build the attack around him.

Any minute now Lambert will look to his right to ask Roy for advice. He'll be confused, wonder where Roy is and wait expectantly before suddenly remembering Keano fucked off a couple of months ago. At which point he'll decide to bring on Andi Weimann to save the game...from the right hand side of midfield.

I think I heard 'we want Lambert out' just then. Need the fans to give him hell for this shambles.

You go from a career at Man U with a manager and set of coaches that only did winning and elite level tactics to this. No wonder he lost it at QPR

He was knackered after one half solid challenge early in the first half.

Comprehensively outplayed again by the bottom team not for the first time.

Does anyone have any pride left at the club? You just know this is part of another mega shit run we're in that will be something like 1 win in 10 two or three goals and a handful of points.

What does it matter who this useless fuck signs he will mould them in to the most boring player you can imagine within a few games. Much like himself Aston Villa and Lambert are as grey as grey can be.
