I'm gonna say it... Albrighton > Gabby, Weimann and Zogbia.

I miss Marc. Even last season when we were awful in the second half of the season, he was one of our better performers. Not a brilliant player but at least a trier, positive and always looking to create a chance. He pelted in a lot of good crosses last season but we had no one to put them away, and sadly the one player who would have relished having him in the side was Benteke, out injured.

Exactly all the things Lambert doesn't seem to value.  He would be a much better option than Gabby.  I was watching the Man City game where Gabby on his hat trick on Youtube the other day.  What ever happened to that player?  Yet again we are crying out for width and variation and anyone can see it other than the prat who makes the decisions.

Villa fans cheering the first shot on target we've had. 58 minutes in.

Definite sign of improvement. Our first shot on target against Blackpool was 61 minutes in

Benteke's been very, very poor the last few games. Sure, he's had little to feed off but he's looked so lethargic and uninterested.
And his touch and hold up play is really not what it needs to be.

I can see Albrighton getting the second when it comes as I believe it will.

Absolutely. He was pretty much the only player creating for us from Jan-May last season. At the very least he busts a gut.

Lambert can't get them to play when they hoof, and can't get them to play when they pass. The very fact that he considers passing football as some sort of cool idea to just try out, you know, see what happens, is testament to his flailing incompetence.

It's so brainless. Lambert has apparently now decided he wants us to pass it out from the back, so that's what we do. Every single time, irrespective of the situation. There's no freedom, no invention, no adaptability. So teams know exactly what we're going to do, they press our defenders because they know we'll struggle to play it out.

Coemmentators have been commentating on it.  Admirable, but a time and a place for it.  Not going to work with no movement in front, and just about every other criticism we're made over the course of the season.

Leicester are utterly dominating us. It's only a matter of time until they score again the way things stand.

It astounds me Albrighton hasn't been able to get in their side. He looks easily one of their best players. He'll probably get a run now. Plus you have players like Nugent and Ulloa, an old school winger is exactly the player you want to supply them.

I'm only following in Twitter but it sounds like we're being pummelled

We're definitely in a relegation scrap aren't we and if we don't sort the scoring thing we're in massive trouble
