I'm quite sure we could both have played on Saturday at 3pm with little to no issue.
However it's 3 of us with Albion fans as well so city centre could become a very dangerous place.

This way the OB get a chance of double time hours on OT on both Saturday and Sunday if they want it.

We wouldn't want to upset the tourists flooding the city to spend that shopping dollar with monobrowed Noses swarming out the Newt to "get at da Vile".

I will still laugh when as I hope we get a bigger crowd than those pair of shitehawks.

Small Heath won't sell out their tiny stadium, that's for sure.

The Mail headline, I shit you not.

FA Cup: Birmingham City beat Aston Villa in coin toss to decide who plays fourth round tie on the Saturday

And the rest of the article. Apparently it's a moral victory.

Quote
Birmingham City scored a moral victory over deadly rivals Aston Villa today when they won the right to stage their FA Cup fourth round tie on their preferred date - with a coin toss.

Blues face West Bromwich Albion at St Andrew’s while Villa were also drawn at home to Bournemouth, much to the concern of West Midlands Police.

With both games scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 24, Blues asked the police to use their heads and tails to decide.

Blues won and will kick-off at St Andrew’s at 3pm on the Saturday with Villa Park hosting goal-laden Bournemouth at 3pm the following day.

A statement on bcfc.com proclaimed: “As West Midlands Police would not allow for our match and the Villa v Bournemouth FA Cup tie to take place on the same day, we had to ask West Midlands Police to conduct an independent toss of a coin to decide who would play on the Saturday.

“Blues won the coin toss; therefore the match will be played on Saturday, January 24 2015 (3pm kick-off).
