We are into the 5th round hat In my view.
Bournemouth will come to attack which as we know is perfect for us.
2-0 home win.

I agree. They'll give us more space.

Just listen to that noise when Andy Lochhead got the winner.  Sitting in my living room watching that again, I can still hear it as if it had just been scored.  THAT, is what the Holte can be like.

I always thought that the goal Vowden scored was a typical Lochhead goal and, vice versa.

nice use of lower case PWS!

I always do with them. Childish and yet satisfying.
I do it by never actually using their name.
Very childish and very satisfying.
:D

After the initial anti climax / anxiety of seeing that draw , I'm actually pleased with it. It suits us fine.
When have we last had 3rd and 4th round at home both times to lower league ? Ages ago I'm guessing ??

I know.
I'd love us to have the luck to draw teams like Millwall, Sheff Utd, Orient and Bradford!

Fun fact. They've scored more goals in Birmingham this season than Villa have.

One of the greatest ever Villa memories. It was a pleasure being there that day.
And is that you Dave running on to hug Vowden?

Nah Aftab, I was in my usual spot down the Witton End.  I always remember what I consider to be the local Bournemouth rag photographer applauding McDougall's goal from his position behind the goal, (not that I blame him mind) and then making sure I looked at him behind the goal down the Witton in the second half when we got the winner.  Shattered!

Just watched it yet again. Lump in throat - Watery eyes. I was sat in the old Witton Lane stand with my Dad. I was 14. I've posted this before but the Bournemouth Number 11 who crosses for Ted MacDougall is Tony Scott who played for us in the late 60's. He played in my first ever game v Sheff Wed in 1965. Two nil win with goals from Hateley and Woosnam I think. Both sadly no longer with us.
