Afternoon all.  Everything points to a hiding here, so I'm going for a 1-0 home win.  Benteke.

Either way it's Shit

We also do have something like 8 players out for one reason or another
We do, but I wonder how many of them would be in the starting lineup today? Hutton obviously and Westwood might be in instead of one of the centre backs, but it's hardly like the Houllier game against them.

Perhaps Senderos, most people have said that they'd rather let the Okore/Clark partnership continue.

I'm watching this but I'm really not sure why. This has to be the closest thing to a foregone conclusion in the premier league calendar if you take the history of the fixture into account.

Still, never say die, eh?

We can't play like this all afternoon. They're decent going forward but shit at the back, so we need to keep the ball in their half, but our formation is preventing us from retaining possession.

That break was a good chance for us. Gabby's pass selection and execution was shocking

There's plenty of scope for us to get balls down the channels to the forwards

We're going to cede a lot of the ball you can see already tho

You'd think after richardson's sending off that Delph would avoid absolutely ridiculous challenges  like that

This is a bit like a cup tie between the PL side and the plucky  non league underdogs.

This is boiling my piss already. If we've learned one thing, it's that sitting on the edge of your box and inviting the opposition to spend 90 minutes trying to find a way through your defence is a dumbass way to play.

Matching their formation is basically handing hem the initiative. They are shit at the back, this basically means they won't be under any pressure.
