The semis could be RVB v VVDV or RVB v MVG or VVDV v MVG or MVG v RVB. Or Taylor v Bunting

Cracking semi final between Van Gerwen and Anderson. Van Gerwen has a bit to do.

Didn't expect that result. MVG's human after all.

Anderson's always been a brilliant scorer but his doubles and bottle let have let him down. It looks like he's exorcised those demons now... big acid test tomorrow though will we see new Anderson or the bad old bottle-merchant one?

I'd love to see him win it.

Not having Sky I was looking forward to the Beeb darts. Seems they don't show the evening session live. Which is disappointing.

Temporarily staying with my retired parents due to health reasons and my wife working full time throws up some interesting exchanges with my old man. Today was "How come you aren't watching any of the darts dad"?
"I'm not that bothered these days son. They've got two world titles or something these days"
"I used to have to sit through enough of it when I was a kid".
"You didn't have to. You could have f***ed off upstairs"!

Apparently the other night I woke up from a medication induced doze to find him watching Morse. He tells me I opened my eyes, said "Oh no, not f***ing Morse" and went straight back to sleep. He is having a lot of fun constantly reminding me about that one.

The Bdo is on Bt Sport in the evening.

Anderson is my favourite player, if he keeps up his current form he should beat Taylor, but he's bound to be nervous on the final

I think on current form its a real 50/50 final. Taylor and Anderson have very similar figures throughout the tournament.

I just hope Anderson can replicate his form so far, because the sex pest definitely will.

I think Taylor will have the bottle. He has proved it before. Anderson,I'm not sure.

My favourite fancy dress at these championships was on Friday and a bunch of people dressed as Marcel Marceau. Whilst all was bedlam around them, they just froze in various poses. Brilliant.

Good game this. Not on the same planet, quality-wise, as Anderson vs the Sex Offender in the other final but engaging nevertheless. Come on Scott!

I'm enjoying it a lot.

Only learnt last night that Phil Nixon died last year. Which quite saddened me.

Yeah it's been a great final.  Has 'Wolfie' got a new partner?  I'm sure he used to have a wife called Sharon?
