A comfortable. 2:2 draw.

ILWT

Can you have a "comfortable draw"?

Yes. I often sketch while wearing loose-fitting trousers.

All i can say is that, if we find ourselves winning, by three goals or less, with 10 minutes to go, I am going to slap some money on us getting a draw (if it is two or three goals) or a defeat (if it is one goal).

you can then host a Houllier style press conference after you pick up your winnings and tell the world how you always knew it was going to happen

I know its hopelessly optimistic but I really think we can cause United real problems

Their defence is rubbish. We need to get gabby and benteke in behind their back three.

I think I'd go:

GUZAN - Okore Vlaar clark - Lowton sanchez Delph cissokho - Weimann - gabby benteke

Given herd GREALISH bacuna nzogbia robinson and somebody I've never heard of

As sure as night follows day, Villa lost at home to Manchester United.

Aston Villa 0-3 Manchester United. All three goals in the first half.

I have a 4 goal rule whereby I walk out when we concede a 4th as I hate the humiliation. Hopefully I won't have to enforce it tomorrow.

You've been quiet about the Stripeyfilth game.  Couldn't you get a decent wifi signal on the way back from West Bromwich?

He was busy trying to mentally file all the shots on goal we had in chronological order.

Danny Baker tweeted the following last time we played Manu - "Whenever Villa face Man U they turn into Bob Dylan's backing band. "How do you want us to play, what speed & let us know when it's over."

It will be their usual B6 stroll, I fear.

I reckon this whole sorry business started when Dwight Yorke decided to sign for them, we seem to have developed a club-wide inferiority complex since the late nineties.  Enough's enough, there is no reason on earth why we should be beating this lot.  Get stuck in lads and win.

I know that was a typo but you have inadvertently hit the nail on the head.

I remember discharging myself from hospital so I didn't miss this fixture in the late-70's (the 3-2) now I fantasise about being hospitalised so I don't have to go ;-)

I wish my keyboard would over-rule me like this when I make my on-line bets.
