Aston Villa vs Manchester United Pre-Match Thread

The annual debacle is just around the corner - despite Salford`s shaky defence I am predicting the usual surrender by our lot in front of the hordes of Brummie/Cockney/ Bristol/Cheltenham/Worcester etc Reds .
Although Okore has improved things I am predicting that we will fold as usual - not the normal 3-0 thumping - I will go for 4-0 and we dont have a shot on target.

No , it won't be as painless as that.
We will lead 2-0 with 78 mins gone and end up losing 2-3.

I saw the first 10 minutes today and was confident of a 2-0 defeat with a couple of early chances created by us due to their terrible defence. Having heard the final score I assume Liverpool were abysmal?

At least we can try and catch them on the quick counter attack.

Despite the winning run they are on I quite fancy us to get a draw. Obviously we won't beat them, there is more chance of us winning the FA Cup than ever beating them at VP in the league again.

I think they've been jammy to go on this run of wins. They're due a fall so wouldn't it be great if we dumped the shites on the floor? Expecting a reaction from some of our players after yesterday in front of a decent crowd so let's be positive, 2-1 Villa.

This is a good time to play them. They are unconvincing, but have enjoyed a streaky winning run, which must come to an end some time very soon, and they might just approach this game thinking they only have to turn up (which, to be fair, is the most they normally have to do to take 3 points away from B6).

No Hutton, Cleverley, Richardson in addition to the injured players. Will we have enough fit players to fill the bench?

Guzan-Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Cissokho-Sanchez, Delph-Gabby, Charlie, Andi-Benteke; Given, Herd, Okore, Bacuna, Grealish, Robinson, a midfielder. Flukey win long overdue. UTV.

How the feck manure have won their last two games is beyond me, a great keeper does help. I dont think they are in the class of Chelsea and Man City and want us to go for it. If we lose, so be it, but lets get at them cos if we sit back and let them do what they want we could be in for a tanking
