They will all be foaming at the mouth in the Smethwick End at us as they usually are, bless em', in their 1980s Lee jeans with their black shoes, stripey Olbyion tops stretched tight over their overweight guts, cheap baseball caps and a mouth with more gaps in it than teeth. They'll keep singing "sheet on da Veela!" inbetween a dreary hymn about being laid down in a field. Bumpkins.

I hope we get off to a flyer and really smash these sad twats.

Team news

Captain Chris Brunt will again miss out for West Brom in their derby clash against Aston Villa.

The midfielder has failed to recover from a hamstring injury he suffered in last week's 2-1 Barclays Premier League defeat to West Ham.

Jonas Olsson is out following an operation on his Achilles but Saido Berahino is set for a recall after being dropped to the bench for the goalless draw at Hull and Claudio Yacob is available following a ban.

Aston Villa pair Ron Vlaar and Fabian Delph could be in contention to return to action in Saturday's local derby at West Brom.

Captain Vlaar has been out since early November with a calf injury while England rookie Delph dislocated his shoulder in October but both have returned to training and may make surprise returns.

Tom Cleverley (bruised foot) is a doubt and fellow midfielder Ashley Westwood will miss around a month with a knee injury. Forward Andi Weimann returns from suspension but defenders Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker remain out, as does midfielder Joe Cole.

Provisional squads (from)

West Brom: Foster, Myhill, Pocognoli, Gamboa, Dawson, Lescott, McAuley, Yacob, Davidson, Wisdom, Baird, Varela, Gardner, Morrison, O'Neil, Dorrans, Mulumbu, Blanco, Sessegnon, Samaras, Ideye, Berahino, Anichebe.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Given, Hutton, Lowton, Okore, Clark, Vlaar, Herd, Cissokho, Delph, Richardson, Sanchez, N'Zogbia, Cleverley, Grealish, Bacuna, Agbonlahor, Weimann, Benteke, Robinson.

Should that happen (please let it happen!!) they will be too busy unleashing their wrath of self righteous anger towards their manager to worry about us.

9th minute should be interesting as well.

I'd be tempted to throw in Herd as the defensive midfielder if Cleverly isn't fit, allowing Sanchez to play further up the pitch where I thought he was far more effective against Leicester. He certainly won't go missing.

It's sure to be a typical derby game and we really need all the lads up for it. Herd will certainly get stuck into them.

With confiderence growing and West Brom not as strong at home as they have been in the past I think we might win this too, dare I say it, fairly easily? :o  Only joking!  But will go 1-2 anyway with Gabby and Benteke getting the goals.
