The timing is what is really odd. We have vlaar Senderos baker all injured and on loan - Stevens Luna Bennett and now Lowton
God forbid another injury or were looking at Herd / Donacien , Richardson or Bacuna as FB ?

The number of Lambert signings that come in and then go out is bizarre and is especially a curse that seems to apply to full backs.
Just like his mentor then!!
we`ve had on-going problems in the full back positions going right back to the height of the MON era, think of the players we`ve had playing out of position there over the years.(count `em).

So many out on loan just means Lambo has to get less Xmas presents for the lads

Could we not send Joe Cole away for a month to get a few games under his (ever expanding) belt?

I don't see the logic of keeping Grealish warming the bench or a seat in the stand when we have Cole doing the same.  If he's not going to be used, Grealish should be continuing his development on loan somewhere.

You have a point. Maybe though if we were doing better in the league we could afford to send him out again and get experience. I'd rather see him get a run out on Saturday for us though.

I actually think Herd is ok at RB, so not unduly concerned by this (unless he sends Herd out on loan again too!).

If they want to take him permanently in january could we please ask for Callum Mcmanaman in exchange. Exactly the type of player our squad is short of.

Herd had one very good game at full back against Wolves. Bacuna  is the obvious choice and he is useless at full back! Lambert (and perhaps Keane) are getting more bizarre than Arry sometimes can be. I woudnt be surprised to see Bent back after his months loan and straight in at right back. Hutton I expect to see as a raiding left winger!

They could make a major film about the goings on down at Villa Park

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest!
