I never hope we lose. But I think the writing is now on the wall. He looks a beaten man too in the press conferences because even taking into consideration a very unlucky run of injuries, his record at the club is entirely indefensible. I think he has tried and has failed and is a shell of the positive, ambitious manager that arrived just over 2 years ago. He needs to go and find a new opportunity to rebuild his career because this experience will have hurt his career. It can be rebuilt; look at McClaren. But we need a fresh start and so does he.

I remember that, saying how we never won up there, he also said they never won at VP. IIRC we drew up there and beat them in the replay at VP.
