Since Keane could not be arsed to attend this match, the players may well wonder whether they should act the same. Firing Lambert today and making Gordon caretaker might be enough to give them the necessary boost.

If they had any sense, which they don't, they would be sounding out replacements for Lambert and his travelling circus as we speak, ready for the axe to fall after our next terrible run.

Finding it difficult to call this match. It's certainly winnable but I don't see that we've got a win in us.

A draw is probably a likely result but nothing would surprise me if we lost.

There, think I've got all the bases covered.

I really believe a defeat tomorrow is curtains for Lambert. Shit recent form, Keane now gone. It will be Black Monday for Lambert if we lose to Burnley.

I like your optimism Toronto, unless Lambert gets caught with his hand in the till then I can't see it happening.

I never hope we lose. But I think the writing is now on the wall. He looks a beaten man too in the press conferences because even taking into consideration a very unlucky run of injuries, his record at the club is entirely indefensible. I think he has tried and has failed and is a shell of the positive, ambitious manager that arrived just over 2 years ago. He needs to go and find a new opportunity to rebuild his career because this experience will have hurt his career. It can be rebuilt; look at McClaren. But we need a fresh start and so does he.

I believe that it's near Wrexham

Maybe Roy was tipped off that Lambert could be gone after tomorrow and thought; "feck that, I'm not risking being put in charge of that shambles"

I have been following Villa since the mid sixties and i can't ever recall winning a match at Turf Moor .Under the clueless one i can't see it changing tomorrow. Will go for a hard fought 0-0

1936 was our last win there. A run of nearly 30 games since then.

Jesus wept! I remember Peter McParland saying they were our bogey team in that history video, but I didn't realise it was as bad as that.

A 4-0 win to us it is then.

If we win tomorrow, then consider me a good luck charm. We haven't lost any of my away games since I started doing a few again, our only 2 wins at Stoke since they got promoted were my two visits. Win tomorrow and i'll expect you folks to start buying my away tickets and travel!

And Mr Sox can't wait to have me decorate his car with scarves!

I remember that, saying how we never won up there, he also said they never won at VP. IIRC we drew up there and beat them in the replay at VP.
