Zog off and Grealish on, FFS.

I don't think I can stand much more of his "head down, four paces, lose ball" routine.

agree    we need a lift ( even thou were winning )  but you know what I mean

I think we've been pretty crap especially early on. We were hugely. After against Spurs. But the result is all important today.

N'zogbia has been awful but I've backed his inclusion in the past on the basis he's our one player who can inject some genuine final third creativity

I'd be inclined to put Lowton on for his crossing ability at some stage - right midfield

What is the point of N'Zogbia?

Well, at least he'll never step in dog shit I suppose.

OptaJoe: 3 - This is only the third time Southampton have trailed at half-time in the PL this season. They lost the previous two games. Pointer.
May as well call it 1-0 now then.

I'm going to go and get another beer, and do it in the Zog style.

*gets up*
*walks towards door, head down*
*walks into wall*

*waits ten minutes*

*does it again*

Very good.

Solid enough imo. Not done anything wrong and distribution has been good. Decent performance from him.

Is Keane there? Haven't noticed him on the telly.

He's showing why he should have been picked to play in previous matches.

Not sure how we're winning but we really need to make the most of this. We don't get into this position very often.

Forgot completely about the first half, thankfully. Just seen the highlights, and it appears our goal was generously donated by Wimbledon FC, circa 1988. Still, who cares, we're winning.

And Villa Park sounds all echoey, like Erdington baths on a quiet Sunday morning.
