Desperate stuff - a point is a point - but what is the point?

Teams who struggle to create clear chances in open play normally have to become reliant on set pieces. It said it all today when we got our first corner of the game after about 67 minutes. Sadly, like most of our corners, it was typically shit. Westwood is an appalling deliverer of set pieces. Absolutely bloody awful.

You can all mock.  But remember one Graham Taylor having a terrible start to the season in 89-90 - one dour result I can't remember who it was against and it was the start of a run that culminated with us finishing 2nd.............no me neither.

For a side with no confidence away to a side that is full of it, and that 65% on here expected us to lose to, i'm satisfied with a point. It's stopped the rot and we showed some bottle even if going forward was lacking as usual.

I am going to put a tenner down now that the word 'excellent' gets mentioned in the post match interview.
I'll go with 'tough'.

Not looking forward to facing Southampton and Shane Long next up. I think we'll come crashing down to Earth with that game. We'll have to enjoy the heady high and buzz from drawing against West fucking Ham.

Crashing down to Earth? Where do you think we are recently??? It would be business as usual if Soton beat us.
