The smartest thing Lambert did was getting Guzan back, he has saved us numerous times and today he probably saved Lamberts job.

This is something I'll always agree with. People forget he was effectively a Lambert signing, and I personally think he's been more pivotal than Benteke and Vlaar.

I can see this point because you can pin point certain saves he has made in crucial games which have played a important role in keeping us up.  And Guzan has remained consistent no matter how bad the team have been playing.  Benteke is still a young player, and has injury problems, and sadly we may not have him long enough to see the best of him.
