I agree and I am approximately there 15 mins before kick off.

just to defend some of the fans that came that day, it is a nightmare to get into West Ham, there was no announcement about the minutes silence and their Stewards hardly said a word about it.

Similar things happened last week. It's downright daft to be holding Remembrance silences on November 1st.

I miss the kick off sometimes, as I am often serially late!

Beer throwing at half time is the daftest thing I ever see. We'll be winning on Saturday, actually two goals to the good and you will see that beer throwing nonsense going on underneath.

QPR the other week was the first kick off I've made for about 10 years. My record is West Ham, when Savo scored 2 goals and we got in just as the second half was kicking off.

Missed the first few minutes of Spurs too. Swansea last season was bloody annoying, as I missed our goal!

I was intrigued to read that N'Zogbia is 'in-form' according to Joe Cole and the BBC gossip column. I guess that our standards have dropped to such a level that one game of showing competence is 'in-form.' Sadly I'm not sure if any others of our players are.
It's the modern media way: after Sunday Kane was given MoM...for 15 minutes' play and the following day he's promoted as the new saviour of English football...same as Berahino...same as...(insert name of any young English player who has one good game/scores a goal)

It's almost N'Zogbia's nature NOT to be in form...he's incredibly inconsistent, as he was at Newc and Wigan.

So he's consistently inconsistent  ???

Pretty sure they were closing turnstiles the closer it got to kick off...we had to be sent to another one to get in and were only just in time...meaning that the usual late arrivals were later than usual and "disturbed" the minute's silence that they didn't know was happening.

yep I believe you are right Frank as it has just reminded me that as I was about to go in last season they closed at least two of the turnstiles which made the situation worse.
It still is a nightmare of an away end to get in and out of...

I've missed a few home kick offs. Another thing I don't get is blokes who have been on the piss for 3 hours before a game decide to leave their seat half hour into the first half to queue up for the bar.

I thought that it had already been said that the Scottish Cafu was out until the new year. Was his injury not as bad as first thought?

I always missed KO when selling H&V, but I had an aisle seat to make sure I wasn't disturbing anyone by appearing late.

I never get the ones who turn up 15 mins into the game, go to the bar 15 mins before HT, come back 15 mins into the second half, and then leave 10-15 mins early. What is the point in going!

You could have heard a pin drop in Villa Park. The silence was impeccably observed. It was the Club's last chance to do this before 11th November and most people in the ground applauded those taking part as they left the pitch area.
