Its funny reading the West Ham board, it's like reading on here when we face a side in need of points!

More or less every group of fans in the league think their team has a record of gifting points to teams who most need them.  West Ham fans in particular.

They're all wrong though, we're the most generous team in the league.

Thing is, no else sees it either.  Just been in the barbers, in Bedford so obviously the three guys that work in there are Liverpool and Man U fans, and they are incredulous about us losing 6 on the trot and think we are "decent" "no way you'll go down mate"  When I pointed out Lamberts record, they were genuinely flabbergasted.
I think the reason they don't realise how bad things are is because we are actually an irrelevance to them. Why would they give any thought or concern to what is happening at Villa other than when they play us or towards the end of the season when they realise, 'bloody hell, Villa are in trouble'.

You need to watch you're self Clampy, those seven or eight fat bastards on the Chicken Run are pwopa nawty geezers.

One of my favourite ever football moments was when Leonhardson put us 2-1 up down there in '03, and I turned round to celebrate with my now wife, looking gorgeous with her hair back and Gucci shades, and she's standing on her seat giving double handed V's to the meatheads in the chicken run.

I honestly think we'll win.  And when we do, you can all call me King Des.

They were my favourite shades bab.

6 straight defeats? Only 1 goal scored in 6 games? Villa's best striker suspended? Villa playing away in London? West Ham riding high in the table and scoring for fun?

Nailed on away win. That's the West Ham way - turning over the top teams and then surrendering meekly to the strugglers.

Hope you all have a good day out. Try and get time to see the poppies at the Tower - worth the time.

Welcome back Sendo - always like to hear what you have to say - so what do you reckon to the Allardyce-revolution of attacking football?

This will be tough. They are playing with a lot of confidence and especially at home, and we, while we are playing better just look deflated. The loss of Benteke who was starting to look menacing again is a killer. If he was playing I would go for a draw at least. Without him I see us discussing the number 7 in not so favourable terms.

Nice of you to return, but you need to lose some weight and stop staring at the away fans.

Sendo sounds like a Villa fan in that post fearing the worst and obvious. They so want to be like us they'll be thinking about nicking our colours too.

Genuinely can't see us keeping a clean sheet against two of the most in-form strikers in the league (although certainly not the best strikers). This means we'll need to score at least two to win. Not saying that is impossible but it is definitely unlikely. I'd take 1-1 please. Plus it's a rubbish away ground to go to so we'll be getting nearby early and indulging in the new Villa past-time of drowning our sorrows before kick-off.

Arry appears again in a West Ham shirt (46 years on) to volley past Guzan in added time to give the Hammers an undeserved victory.

Villa manager Mr Paul Lambert points out we were excellent...several times..in the same sentence!

For those going it's The Lord Mayors Show on Saturday plus preparations for Remembrance Sunday so expect delays / chaos on the tubes and busses .
