Honestly can't imagine us scoring, let alone winning. Here's hoping for an own goal or four.

The next few are massive games for us.  I can see us beating Burnley and the Foxes, although knowing us we might draw both which would not be good enough.  A draw against the Saints would be a reasonable results.  Palace should also be winnable given their recent decline and pressure on Warnock, but going there is never easy.  I think Lambert's future at least for this season should be decided over those four games.

The next ten games, perhaps other than ManU are winnable. I think Lambert won't be sacked, come what may, but at the very very most, I would give him that run of games to see how we fare. The trouble is, we might be bang in trouble afterwards and still won't sack him.

Think we'll get 6 points from our next 4 or however many games we're doing, low scoring draws v Saints, Burnley and Palace (yes a result at Selhurst for once) and a decent win v Leicester with Benteke back from his ban with something to prove so an unbeaten run from nowhere.

Southampton- L
Burnley- W
Palace- D
Leicester- W
West Brom- D
A little light at the end of the tunnel. Followed by:
Utd- L
Swansea- L
Sunderland- L
19 points by the half way mark. Something similar points wise in the second half of the season. 35-38points. Awful but probably just about enough.
This is my optimistic guess.

The way we're playing at the moment I can't see how we're going to win a game.

I'm living purely in the hope that Burnley are atrocious and Leicesters bright start has hit a brick wall as their atrociousness comes to the fore.

But as we know from experience, the more nailed on a win might seem in Villas favour, the less chance the result usually ends in our favour. More often than not we seem to cock it up.

In this Season of Seasons as far as records are concerned, how many more points do we need to make sure we don't beat Derby's record? Another 6?

We will now draw every match until we play Manure who will collect their early Christmas present
I had said between 3 and 5 points for these 5 matches and we have 1 so far
