Next 3 games are huge for us because this is our level.

Leicester game is a must win in my mind, we won't beat Man. United obviously so it could be easily just 1 win at VP from this first half of the season.

We are always rubbish at Selhurst Park so I'd gladly take a point down there.

The Burnley game will be a lot more difficult now with them picking up, I'd like to think though that's the sort of game we could scrape a 1 nil win from.

Edit: Fewer than 5 points from those games and I fully expect us to be in the bottom 3 over xmas.

In a weird sort of way I'd fear Burnley more if they hadn't won all season.

I reckon we will get

1 point v burnley, palace and west brom (3 in total)

3 pts v Leicester

Any less than that is a poor return.

From the next four I will go:

Burnley - Win
Palace  - Draw
Foxes   - Win
Baggies - Draw

That would be acceptable, and should it work out that way that would mean we would have been unbeaten for six games which is almost unthinkable!

I think the Baggies game may be the death of Lambert. If we lose that and haven't picked up much in between we are done for. It's hard to think that in the space of ten years or so we have sunk to having attendances on a par with them lot down the road. They are no great shakes but at the moment I really fear for us in that game. Hard to imagine how theyve overtaken us in so many ways, with the lad who was in the England squad having been pinched from under our noses from a school in Aston. Where has it all gone so wrong?

How on earth have Albion overtaken us 'in so many ways'?

If fox / Lerner had the balls to sack TSM II I think we'd instantly add 8-10k to the home gate just based on the excitement of knowing it's not his tactics .

Agreed. Hope he will, but hard to see with this 4 year contract, the squad we have and no money to spend how it's going to happen. But I suppose he will do his best to protect the asset.

To be fair they are streets ahead of us in the 'proportion of simpleton supporters' stakes.
