Not sure what's worse - the game or the nonsense negativity on here. We have had a decent start to the season, lost to three teams guaranteed to be in top 4, and granted are playing poorly today.

Hardly the end of the world.
And there it is again. I glad someone keeps remind me that we should accept that we can't play out with the big boys but should look forward to playing the with the shit ones.

So are Champions League contestants Liverpool not big boys?

Mass hysteria, just because Everton have had a poor start we assume we should go to a top 6 side and win?

Granted we have played poorly but deary me.

Why don't you stop exaggerating with the "mass hysteria" thing and actually argue your point rather than banging on about other people all the time?

It's difficult to understand what this co-commentator is saying with Everton's dick in his mouth.

It's called a Scouse accent.

We haven't expected an easy win, but we could at least expect our side to try and have a go and exploit what have been glaring weaknesses for Everton this season. We've sat back and given them probably the easiest game they'll have all season.

The wheels have truly come off our adequate start. 4 games  no points no goals and other teams scoring at will. I think I will keep away from post match thread.

If we get one in the next couple of minutes - and we look like we could - we will get a draw at least.

Nobody is asking you to give up. If you look, I said the defending has improved, but what about everything else?

To be honest, whilst I think the results aren't going our way at the moment, and the football isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, I think that the team is a lot more headstrong than it has been in recent years. I think that the inclusion of Cleverley has added an ability to add good balls in the box as seen against Arsenal before it all went tits up. We haven't been scoring, but Benteke is back and he's been missing big time. I'd be surprised if we finished below 13th this season.

Here's hoping we win some of the more winnable games approaching, then, but it worries me that the last two years, we've said precisely that - we've got some easier games coming - and then failed to win them.

There's no disgrace in losing to the likes of Chelsea or Man City, but I'd rather we'd done so having shown some signs of improvement, that's my concern.

7 points out of 9 from the 'shit' teams we've played so far suggests we will.

Yet again giving possession away from a throw in. Infuriating.
