THAT away kit!
« on: October 01, 2014, 04:08:27 PM »
It's back

http://shop.avfc.co.uk/shop/aston-villa-retro-1993-95-away-shirt/index.html

As part of our retro range this classic Aston Villa retro replica shirt from the 1993-94 and 1994-95 season has always sparked a healthy debate amongst supporters. With the distinctive green, black and red stripes along the body and sponsor Muller printed to the front this retro shirt has developed a cult status with fans.

Did you love it or hate it??

I had the green one and my brother had the home one.

I think they're probably the worst set of kits we've ever had.

I've still got both home and away. The material made it nice wear in the summer.

I've got the Home One (with Saunders on the back) and love it!

As for the green I remember loving it at the time and bigging it up to my PE teacher, but then changed my mind, but now I am back to loving it of course! 8)

I've got the home one. I don't think i've got that one.

I wish they'd bring the old stripey home kit out from first GT season (i think).  I'd buy that.

Think I might buy this one just for the noveity value of it.  Also, its another old shirt I could wear to a match without the worry of being lambasted for having a since departed player on the back ::)

I'd forgotten what a remarkable combination of colours that shirt was.

Score Draw should sort something g out with the original manufacturer and get their logo on there. Some of their shirts look odd without it, including this.

Apart from the "true classics" ('57, '77. Rotterdam) this has always been a favourite due to it's kitsch awfulness - like an ugly puppy you've just got to love it

Those are nice - I seldom wear any colours other than a micro badge but the first one is good
