I've always liked that away kit, mainly because we wore it the day I decided Villa was the team for me (Arsenal away, Nov 1993- 2-1 to us; Bosnich penalty save and Townsend with the winner in the last minute). I picked up a too-large dilapidated one for much less than the club shop are asking on ebay a couple of years ago, mind.

I've still got mine in my old dears loft, I always thought it was one of our better away shirts.

It's back

http://shop.avfc.co.uk/shop/aston-villa-retro-1993-95-away-shirt/index.html

As part of our retro range this classic Aston Villa retro replica shirt from the 1993-94 and 1994-95 season has always sparked a healthy debate amongst supporters. With the distinctive green, black and red stripes along the body and sponsor Muller printed to the front this retro shirt has developed a cult status with fans.

Did you love it or hate it??

Hate it, Hate it, HATE IT!!!!!!!

I had one of those, first villa shirt I ever got for myself, it got stolen from my balcony when we were on holiday in Turkey in the summer of 95.  I remember thinking whoever stole it was an arsehole but at least they had good taste in football teams.

As someone else has said, it's great because it's so terribly kitsch.

Aesthetically I am not a fan, but the nostalgic in me loves this kit. Reminds me of happier times

Can you imagine the meeting where that was unveiled... "yes it's great, approved" I doubt that was the initial reaction.

Muller must still be paying us a little sponsor money to have their logo included.

Terrible kit but very fond memories of the team that wore it.
