If we really are serious about winning the title then we should be beating mid-table teams like Arsenal. As it is...0-3.

We've had a excellent 4 games but I wouldn't put a penny on us winning any of the next 4.

Before Saturday, would you have put a penny on us winning any of the next 5?

Yes, only for the fact we never lose all the so called hard games.

Doesn't that count for the next four games, in that case?

I had money on us to win on Sat so no.

You must have changed your mind from the pre-match thread then.

3-1 them

Why always him x2
Sterling

Weimann for us

Is the head shaking because none of your bets were right?

You win some, you lose some. I get a better feeling from Villa winning than any small bet result.

You're funny this is the printed one with date and barcode ; )
Where ? Not seeing that

Happy now.

Why have you scrubbed the amounts off?

Amount punted on us to lose: £1000
Amount punted on us to win: £0.25

Gooners not confident.

"This is a nightmare game, probably one of the worst we could have had apart from a top 4 team.

Unless we sort it out, Villa are gonna absolutely ruin us on the counter, we cannot deal with their style of play. They'll just sit deep and leather it to Agbonlahor and Weimann and let them run at Arteta and Per, lessons from last night have to be learnt."

I find it really interesting reading other fan's opinions of us.

On the contrary, I think we could have some real joy really pressing them quite high up the field and trying to attack them from there.

I thought most of the views put across were very respectful of us and measured. Not nearly so much of the usual arrogant, patronising crap you see on, for example, bindippers' or Newcastle fans' fora. Arsenal do have a bunch of tarquin supporters but their old school ones have always been ok in my opinion and respectful of Villa's place at the top table in the pantheon of the history of football!

What does Fabregas the King think?

I think that was my favourite post-match comments.

Was that the thread with the Arsenal fan who came on here to complain about Villa fans cheering a serious injury to one of their players when we beat them at the library? Wasn't he a doctor, it turned out?

Something close to that.

The good doctor was about to clap Villa fans until he realised that the song was taking the Micky out of Eduardo, which was a little naughty. He seemed to put the guy breaking his leg on the same sort of pedestal as Hillsborough though and went to shake his fists at Villa fans after the game "brushing with hooliganism". It was a funny read.

Typical Fever Pitch Arsenal Tarquin. They have more Tarquins than Chelsea, it's just their gentrification has been less obvious.

We sung a song about a serious injury to one of their players in a previous game. I thought it was in poor taste.

However, the outrage of Fabregas the King was so hilarious that he made me want to sing it every week!

He actually thought we should have points deducted for it!
