A solid performance and a draw before the Chelski-pain would be excellent - clean sheet for us.

Why pain?

We should have got at least a point there last season and we beat them at home.

Looking at their team last night, they didn't have any defensive midfielders in there which might be where the game can be won if we play with the four we did against Liverpool.

We've had a excellent 4 games but I wouldn't put a penny on us winning any of the next 4.

Before Saturday, would you have put a penny on us winning any of the next 5?

Yes, only for the fact we never lose all the so called hard games.

Doesn't that count for the next four games, in that case?

I had money on us to win on Sat so no.

You must have changed your mind from the pre-match thread then.

3-1 them

Why always him x2
Sterling

Weimann for us

A dull 0-0 and a point closer to safety will do me fine.  Also, as someone else posted it will keep us in decent form for the Chelsea game.  Should be a good test of Arsenal's new found steel?

Do we know if that cheating tw*t Wilshere is going to be fit to play in this match?

He refereed the game last season.

I'm hoping their young lad Bellerin plays. He had a nightmare against Dortmund. Got absolutely roasted all game. They're struggling at RB with Debuchy out. Even if Wenger opts for Chambers instead, I think he can be targeted, so I'd be tempted to shift Gabby out to the left and put Andi through the middle.

Had it been the end of last season, I could understand the feeling that we have no chance here. I think we all felt to a greater or lesser extent that we could almost have lost to anyone in any of the four leagues. And my local team, Sidlesham. But it seems strange to hold to that point of view now. This will be a very tough game, not least because we are at home, which is an equally strange thing to say of course, but we have confidence and they have not got into their stride. Arsenal, normally, are one of those teams who seem to have runs of games where they are simply unplayable or right off the pace and you wouldn't say they are the former so far this season

Beware of the wounded animal. Wellbeck for a brace, easy Arsenal win, much moaning about Baker and the start of a bit of a tough run.

I think our new found confidence will enjoy feasting on the wounded animal. We will nullify Wilshere much like we did with Gerrard, and really run at their defence that is creaking and cracking.

2-0 Gabby and a late Weimann goal to finish matters.
