I wouldn't waste £7m on Cleverley if my life depended on it. Keep him on loan till the end of the season and then let him go where he likes.

If true about Everton and I were Lambert I would send him back now as he obviously doesn't want to be here or see his future here so will not in my mind be 100% committed to the cause. If he doesn't want to sign then send him back to rot in United's reserves if he's not committed to Villa.  He adds nothing to this squad except another number. Even if he wants to stay, I wouldn't spend much on him.

He's only commited to his wallet.
