I don't really live in Nice FMWMU.   I started posting from there on holiday once and never bothered to change.   Worth the 200 mile round trip today though, especially as I had the pleasure of watching the game with Damon's son.

Oh come on, it wasn't that bad a joke.

It resulted in a few smiles around me when I used the line during the game.

BTW, I'm glad that you went back to your own seat for the second half. Things got tense enough without you tempting fate by taking the spare seat next to Rob's daughter.

Good first half, when was the last time we were 2-0 up at half time at home?

While we sat back a little too much in the second half it still wasn't the total panic stations at the end, with much thanks to the Bruce's pub players breaking up the game taking lumps out of young Jack.

If we can get three point from the next five games we should be looking up the table instead of down...

The 3 2-0  mess ups against manu  I have witnessed were 1-0 HT.

I don't know who that bloke was running around in Agbonlahors shirt today - but he looked quite useful. Wonder if we'll see him again?...

Damn it Brian, you should have kept the myth going mate!
I've been imagining you typing your words of wisdom on a sun-drenched verandah, sipping a locally grown red and snacking on olives picked from the overhanging tree.
As the sun sets on the horizon, you shut your laptop down and stroll into your villa's enormous, marble-floored bedroom to sleep the sleep of the righteous.

Back streets of Bristol then?
We're THIRD y'know! :D

First half was excellent. That's what I expect of us when we face sides like that at home. Hull were absolutely terrible, it has to be said.

Second half was disappointing. Lambert didn't know what to do when Bruce changed formation. Luckily they didn't threaten much.

The fact that they chose to hack Grealish down at every opportunity says it all. He really is quite talented, but we need to be patient with him.

I think that he's a mate of the bloke who's wearing Hutton's shirt this season.

I am also devastated by the news that Brian doesn't live in Nice. I thought that a certain TV star was paying for his father to have a comfortable retirement in the south of France.

I may never believe in anything ever again.

Superb first half, crisp passing, one touch attacking football and two bloody good goals. Best half of football I've seen at Villa in ages. Second half we sat back too much, but who the hell cares.
Great result and third in the league. More of the same please, Villa!
