I don't know what is odd about people responding to being called a twat. You can, and did the second time, make your point without resorting to the twat comment.

Fair enough. Though, seeing as I've already been compared to Richard Keys here, I'll use the 'it was banter' defence.

Not my argument, but I'm guessing the Richard Keys comment is just the fact that he's a bit hairy and you've called yourself Villa Werewolf. I'm not sure that grinding out a one nil against Stoke, not getting a shot on target against NooCASTLE and losing to Leyton f'in Orient means we've suddenly turned a corner, but what do I know, I'm just a twat who supports the Villa.

So you are actually a werewolf then?

This thread sums up why Villa fans are basically twats.

Fantasising over imaginary events, moaning about them before they've even occurred, FFS.

How about we dwell instead on the fact that our league start has been pretty decent, and would be very promising indeed if we can add three more points on Sunday?

Do I count as a twat for imagining we would win the FA Cup this season?

Well, yes, I understood the Keys reference :-/

And where exactly have I claimed we have 'turned the corner'?

A very strange post indeed.

If you understood the Keys reference then you knew you weren't being compared to him, so the post where you said you were was also a very strange post. Just stop being rude if you don't want people to be rude to you. And yes, I overdid the suggestion you thought we'd turned the corner, you said we'd made a pretty decent start. I still think a scraped win v stoke and no shots on target v Newcastle is a pretty average start. I do accept the no goals conceded is a positive.

What in the name of God are you on about?! I only brought up the Keys thing to make the 'banter' quip. I'm entirely unsure why you seem fixated on it so.

Go home Mike, you're drunk.

The first time a team fields 11 outfield players against us, the opposition manager deciding a goalkeeper is superfluous.

I too misread the title of the thread as New Lambert Maelstroms. Surely I though the Twats have not started another thread about going round and round on ever decreasing circles until ultimately going down.

Fuck this thread!  Despite Wednesday set back we have had a solid start so there is no need to be negative for the sake of it ::)

Here's a good one:

Clean sheet today and it's the first time we've kept three clean sheets at the start of the season since 1900.
