We had posts from delusional Geordies on Saturday and today I bring you some delusions from some other non-entities.

If things had worked out slightly different we could be playing in the same league this season.
We shouldn't have an inferiority complex playing villa, they are shockingly bad IMHO.

Assistance please.

Having recently moved back to the West Midlands can someone advise me of a good, safe place to park nearish (10min walk or so) to the Holte End.

And will purchase tickets at the ground so is the ticket office still by Trinity Road

If you don't want to pay, I would advise parking on Trinity Road.  I park there and there are always plenty of spaces on both sides of the street.  It's only a 5-10 minute walk depending on how far up you park.

On the first point.............. they're quite right

On the second point............ if they're going on last season, they're also quite right. If they're going on this season, they're wrong because Villa have now reached the dizzying heights of 'average'

It always makes me laugh when these nothing clubs get a draw against a struggling PL club and see a vastly inflated image of their own status.

"Villa are shockingly bad", maybe, but not compared to the likes of Orient we're not. The cheeky fuckers.

Over the past three seasons I've seen posters on here say that we were "the worst team in any league" and "against any organised team down to League One we would lose heavily".

That's how I read it. We might have turned a corner and become boringly avergae, as opposed to pretty bad. But still, Leyton fucking who? The cheeky twats.

Yes, if they'd been good enough to finish higher than third in the third tier of English football and/or had been good enough to beat the colossi of world football that are Rotherham FC AND we had finished in the bottom three of our division then this reincarnation of Brazil 1970 would have been playing us in the league this season.

We should just forfeit the game tomorrow night now, how can we compete?

I am never confident of beating any team at home under this manager. With the likes of Baker and Clark likely to be playing, i fear it will be a struggle . I will go for a hard fought 2-1 home win

Aly (ankle) and Vlaar (knee) are injury doubts. I'd definitely rest them for this game to be on the safe side.

I don't think the Bradford , millwall and Sheff Utd games have helped our perception with some of the lower league minnows . They see us as a soft touch I suspect. Let tomorrow night begin to end this myth.

I can't remember us losing this early in the League Cup since about 1992.

Like most little league teams they'll enjoy their massive day out at a big club, oooh and ah at our ground. Take the piss singing about empty seats when the attendance will be higher than anything they have had in living memory and then go home after a routine spanking to continue to worry about whether they are better than Walsall. Fuck 'em.
