Assistance please.

Having recently moved back to the West Midlands can someone advise me of a good, safe place to park nearish (10min walk or so) to the Holte End.

And will purchase tickets at the ground so is the ticket office still by Trinity Road

I've parked at King Edwards Vi school for years now (they do an annual season ticket). The car park is run and manned by the school's Parents Association. Costs £5, very secure (gates locked at kick off time), and very pleasant 10 minute stroll across Aston Park to the Holte End.

Ticket office is still in the Villa Village behind the North Stand at the Trinity Road end

Tesco on Aston Lane do parking for £4. Easy walk to any part of VP and very easy to get away if you're travelling towards town or Perry Barr after the game.

I am going towards Castle Bromwich. Then again doubt there'll be much traffic tonight

You can't force being a nose on the lad though. Obviously depends a lot on how close to his old man you were I guess, how much effort you put into trying to nurture the dark side in him. You'll probably find he gets sucked in by one of the 'big' clubs though despite your efforts. If he showed interest in villa, how could you not encourage it being a Villa fan yourself?

2-1 to the Villa, McInally (2) Hearn for them

John Chiedozie is their danger man.

Nah, he's moved to Notts County, innit.

I'd recommend this as it is my wife who manages the permits and often mans the gates (at weekend games at least). The money also goes to a support a great school.

Ok thanks for this - I parked there last time after viewing houses in the area we now live. Hoepfully better result than the reversal against The Blades
