I have a moral dilemma. A friend of mine is visting on Wednesday with a 6 year old lad. The poor lads dad died recently (sadly) even though he was a nose. Question do I respect his dad's wishes to let him be brought up as a nose. Or do I do my moral duty and take him to VP on Wednesday?

Duty or respect?

Nose
Take him to both in the next month. He is 6, plenty old enough to see sense.

I'd definitely be starting the likes of Lowton and Bacuna. Pointless having a squad if you cant trust them to be good enough against Orient.

And let him be a nose if that is what his dad wanted. Respect all the way.

If it's his dad's wishes, that's it end of debate

The only time you should interfere is if he veers towards being a brummie red or some other shithouse plastic team

Very sound advice by john e. Go with Dad's wish but NEVER let him go astray.

All the young children I know wear replica shirts from a very young age. He probably already wants to support his dad's team and quite right too, after all isn't that what we all did?

Dad's wishes on this one.  He has to be a Nose and, if you're his only contact with football then, you should see that he goes even if it is you who has to take him.  I'd do it.  Best wishes to the little man.

Do the lad a favour and put him off football in it's entirety.

Won't taking him to the swamp do exactly that?

My dad supported Leicester. So I'm lucky. Personally I think everyone should make their own choice - like religion and politics (and sexuality, if that is a 'choice')

If I have a kid they'll get to choose. I'll just pray they don't pick Chelsea. But if they picked arsenal I'd probably just be a bit jealous!

No, and its a bloody good job. Being a Villa fan is bad enough at times but I couldn't have coped with following Wolves.

I'm guessing were entering a time of 2nd and 3rd generation plastics up and down the uk. A sorry indictment of where this sport has gone.

Quite correct.
